Just read a DirtWheel shoot out between a Honda Ranger and Yamaha Wolverine where they drag raced the two of them against each other.They said the Wolverine beat the Ranger until 3rd gear and than the Ranger keeped pace, and then REELED the Wolverine in on the top end? Where I come from no 51 mph machine(Ranger) can REEL in a 60 mph machine (Wolverine) in 5th gear,given 4th was the keep pace gear DirtWheels was talking about.I'm not a Honda fan or Yamaha but this sure defies physic.Now I'm wandering if I should believe these review's the magazines write.

Like I said in a previous post, DW does like to sugar coat things a little, but they are equally fair in their sugar coating. The best machine (Wolverine) did win out though.

 

I am a Polaris fan, but I also own a wolverine. last weekend I was out riding with my friend on a Honda Rancher. When we had a drag race I clearly beat him from start to finish. The moral of the story-DON'T LISTEN TO WHAT THE MAGIZINES SAY!!
