BonedBad2.I don't know which dealers you go to.But when I was in the market to buy an ATV I looked at all of the brands. The SP500 and the Grizz were usually within $100 of each other, with the sp500 being the cheaper of the two. When it came time to buy one of the two,it became a decision of who had a better track record. Not a question of price.

Bill,

Is that what the clacking noise is that develops on the rear of a KQ at about 2000 miles? Our King Quad had the noise but I thought that it might be rattling u-joints. (or do those go out too?) We sold it before we found out what it was.

And bought a real quad.

Thor,I suppose it could of been your u-joints to,but on my bro Johns King Quad,it was certainly his rear wheel bearings.===BILL

You mean to tell me that of all the decisions that
go into picking a quad, the zerks is what made you
pick your 450es? Give me a break!

My HONDA HAS 0 ZERKS
IT does NOT have....BELTS that DO GET WET..DO BURN UP..SPEEDOMETER HOUSING DEFECTS(elec. problems) that cause engine shut down..exposed u joints and axles..Bad tie rod ends... noisy brakes..
Many Polaris riders in this forum don"t know when, where,or how much to lube... I certainly dont!
Your 500 is a new model ..high tech
My Honda 450es is a new model..low tech
The TRUE TEST comes in about 5 years or so
I am counting on Hondas track record in DURABILITY,DEPENDABILITY,and EASE of MAINTAIN-ability..Polaris riders may get there 1st. Honda riders get there cheaper and easier!!

I"D rather be RIDING than REPAIRING..
99 Honda ,-25 below...90 above..1200 miles,
