I bought my 99 scram.400 and asked if there were any promos going on and the said no. a week later I saw the ad for $300 or a remmington gun. I called the dealer ship and they said tuff. I called polaris and talked to a cust rep and after 3 houres of wait time he called me back and said " even though you bought it befor the time of promo he talked to his boss and I could go to dealer where I bought it and get $100.00 in polaris stuff" it beatsa tuff ##it answer. I ges you just have to talk to the right person and say the right thing

my friend just bought a 2000 Sportsman 500 Remington Edition and he paid $7400 for it and traded an Explorer in and same thing- no trades only cash deals. He called Polaris and they told him too bad, it was up to the dealer if he wanted to give it to himor not. He had spent about $30000 at this dealer in the last 4 years and the dealer has seen the last of him!Seems most of the dealers all have the same attitude-take your money and run!!!!!!

 

I just bought 2 SP500s since the promo has been going on, from different dealers. I haggled with both of them and got them down to $6100 each plus tax, but didn't score the winch. They said I would have to pay MSRP for the quad to get the winch for free. Or I could get the 2500 for $549 plus installation. I mail ordered a Warn 2500 with mounting kit for $425 and installed it myself. BTW, it works great, guess I'd still be stuck if not for it!
