I took my son riding this weekend and we had a blast.But we did have some problems.Everytime my son would run it on a straightaway at full speed it would backfire and then die.It would start back up and he would ride it and it would do it again and then finally it would not start untill i got home about two hours later.It is a2002 model and the dealer put in a new pilot jet before I brought it home and also redone the fuel lines because of problems they were having with people bringing them back. I would bet it is the CDI box in it.A friend of my sons went with us on one of those and thats how it acted.
