I just changed jets in my 03 Sportsman 500. I loosened the carb and turned it sideways enough to get to the jet. I was wondering if anyone has been able to do it without loosening connections to the carb. It looks like with the right short stubby straight screwdriver, you could change it quickly without loosening connections? After loosening the hex plug, the jet seems accessible -Anyone tried this?

 

THats the easiest way to do it but you need to loosen the two clamps but it no big deal.
