I have the clutch apart on my 400 scrambler, what will work best with a DG pipe, I have a Epi clutch kit from a 250 trailblazer will any of those parts work? I also dont understand the EPI charts on the primary side they list 2-1/2 load and 1-1/2 load, how can you adjust the tension on the primary spring?

No one knows (not even DG) about what works best with DG because they dont make clutch kits to match the pipe. Pipes and clutch kits must go together to match the powerband of the pipe. I have made this mistake about DG and thaught i could save some money and figure it out myself. I waisted ALOT of money trying to get the DG pipe to work and it seemed to get worse. Ask anyone DG is not the way to go with polaris. The EPI clutch kit will work on your 400 but the secondary clutch is very tricky to work on and if you dont get it right it wont shift good at all. Did your kit come with a red primary spring? If so put in the red spring and see what you think. I started out with the red spring and got much better low end. TRUST ME your waisting your time with DG and will never get the power out of the 400 like you would with HPD,HSP,RCR or AAEN. You will get tons more power from these brands and you will not be disapointed.

VIG,as it has been told, that dg pipe is way to restrictive,a 250 clutch kit will not work on the 400 at all,but if you think seriously to do best about this whole pipe/clutch thing,go for the hot seat kit,or hpd, rcr.the spings cannot be adjusted.good setup on 400 is 40-42/36 helix,55 g of weights.
