Dry belt for the 500 Scramber?

Has anybody figured out how to keep water out of a 2000 Scramber 500. My sons 2000 400 Scramber isn't have as bad, went ridng at Dead horse run last week, mine was wet 4 times, my sons 0. Any suggestions?

Make sure your cover is sealed right. Also goto a dealer and order a few extra clips (like the one to the back of the cover) and put them on in various places. Try avoiding "splashing" into water at high speeds.

Get some plumbers putty and seal off the belt case this should solve your welt belt problem and the clips sound like a good idea I will definetly pick some of those up.
