Predator03 (Scott) haven't had a chance to test a 39 tooth. For that matter I haven't had a chance to test the 38 that is now on my machine.....hopefully that'll change this coming week.

Installed a 39 rear today and put the 14 back on the front. I really like the way this combo loads the motor and pulls. More down low without losing a bunch of top end...

I have the 13 tooth on mine and am running 10 paddle Haulers. I still would like to go a little lower. The change made a world of difference and havent experienced any problems or negative results of any kind that I can see. 2nd through 4th gear the bike wheelies no problem (3rd and 4th requiring being in the power band and a little bump). This is a great set up in my opinion, although I still would like to go a bit lower, I think a 39 tooth rear would be optimal for where I ride (Pismo isnt the largets place and dont get into 5th very often.
