Are you saying "your in 2WD and it locks 1 wheel in 4x4?
Did you have it in 4x4 right before it happened?
If so,next time you turn the AWD switch off
go in reverse for a few feet. That will(should) unlock the hub.
Did you check the hub fluid?
Is it still under warrenty?

IF YOU ARE SPINNING IN TWO WHEEL DRIVE THE THE SPINNING EFFECT ON THE FLUID IN FRONT WHEELS CAN CAUSE THE WHEELS TO LOCK INTO ALL WHEEL DRIVE.BEST TO KEEP IT IN FOUR WHEEL DRIVE WHEN IN SLIPPERY CONDITIONS....IF IT LOCKS IN AT HIGH RPM'S COULD RIP OUT FRONT DIFFERENTAL..ABOUT 400.00 DOLLARS..

I had the exact same thing happen when I owned my 00 scrammy 4x4. When in 2x4, 1 tire would kick in, but only at higher speeds. It ended up being that before I owned it, one of the shafts going to the front had become undone at some point and broken loose, casuing it to bend, this caused enough vibration at high speeds to engage 1 tire and about jerk you off the trail. If you know that a roll pin has broken before and a shaft has come loose, that is a good chance. Other things to look at would be to check the hub oil level, and also in the hub is a flat washer that has 3 small prongs on it. Make sure this isn't bent, but if all the parts inside the hub are working properly, try the shafts, hope this helps.
