Decals 0n spruce green 02' sp 700
#1
Is their a "700 Twin" decal on an 02 sp 700? When my black and silver 02 sp700 was repaired, all the plastic had to be replaced. I had my dealer replace everything with spruce green plastic. The dealer also had to order all the decals and put them on. When I picked it up I noticed that it didn't have a decal that said "700 Twin" on the sides of the fuel tank.It only had the large decal that said "Sportsman 700". When I asked the mechanic where the "700 Twin" decal was, he said that it wasn't supposed to have one. He says that the 02 sp700 in spruce green is the only 700 that doesn't come with one. I find this kind of odd. Is this true or is he bull$hiting me and just forgot to order one? I can't imagine a 700 twin not having a 700 twin decal somewhere on it. If anyone has an 02 sp700 in spruce green or anyone else has the answer, would you please reply. For a repair bill of $3423.81, I'll make them put the proper decals on it if it's supposed to have them. I don't want to go shooting off my mouth though, until I know what I'm talking about. I won't be able to reply back for a couple days because I'm takeing it to our cabin and giveing it a good workout to make sure everything is right. This should be fun in 0 degree weather. Thanks in advance!

Check this link out...
Spruce Green 700 Twin from Polaris website.
Here is a picture from Polaris's website of the Spruce green 700. You'd probably need to save the picture to your desktop, then open it with a picture viewer and zoom in. It's kinda distorted, but you can see where it says "700 Twin". Hope this helps. Let us know what happens.

In case that link doesn't work, go here, then scroll down to the picture of the Spruce Green 700 sitting sideways. It's the third row up from the bottom, last picture.

Thanks to all who responded. I was dealing with Bair's and the mechanic has since figured out the parts manual and has put on the right decals. I just took it back today as their are still a number of things that were not repaired proberly or not repaired at all. As they say, It's hard to find good help now a days.

Mountain! Thanks, but I think I have it handled. No sense in opening that can of worms. I have a pretty good relationship with all of them and have been doing business with them since 1996. I'm sure it will be right this time around.
