335 Sportsman

I would go for the SP500 if I were in your shoes. It's not that more expensive and you will never regret the extra buck$ spent. I ride with both and the 335 is not as good for mudding...small Titan 489 tires. It's very smooth though. Plus if the deal is the same as here they throw in a winch on the 500!!!

I went riding with 12 polaris's this weekend, through some challenging mud holes and hills. Explorers, Expeditions, Sportsman 500s, and Sportsman 335's. Only the 335's consistantly had to be rescued (pulled out). Are you going to get into serious mud??. Other than the mud, they were great! P.S.--we were all basically stock, except one Explorer, had good mud tires--it showed!!

I got a SP 335 in October of 99 and have had no problems with it. I have a good friend that used to play pro football as a defensive lineman and he rode it. He said that it had plenty of power for his purposes (mine are the same) which is hunting, trail riding and for the kids to ride. This is a good machine. I just wish that my dealer would have told me that they would make some changes to them shortly after I bought it.
