Hey, look at all the motorcycles with chrome everything. You can as far as I know chrome about any kind of metal. Plenty of people chrome A-arms on the 250r's and others. The only thing that might stop you from doing it is the price. You can buy stuff already chromed for almost or the same as chroming your old parts. But if you are thinking about the Pred stuff, just have to start doing some checking. I was going to chrome my pipe on my wheeler, but my closest chroming place about 100 miles away wanted more than just the pipe would cost to do it, $300. If I would have only listened to CPI, I could have had it done at the time of purchase for only $60. He told me that the EPA charges so many fees and fines that it makes the cost go up. Hope this helps,Bubba

My buddy is a Plater....his slogan is "we can plate anything form plastic to Poodle poop"!
You are better off buying your stuff allready plated though.

Thanks for the imput Babba, I have not priced out work yet but I do have a local plating company nearby. As for me waiting for Polaris to offer these parts it looks slim.Considering my local dealers cant even get me any oil or filters in stock. ):

also keep in mind that when it comes to price, you get what you pay for. a "cheap" chrome job may look good when you first get it but will soon chip.
