I own an ATV drag sled and hold several pulls each year, plus we travel around Maine and Canada pulling, sorry but our prairie usually wins. Check out our pulling pic's, the camera to the left.

I noticed noone acknowledged the rincon - there's a reason for that!!!

Bill I had the 589s on the Kodiak for a while but went back with the Gators much better ride, cheaper and just as good in the mud. I've had a few sets of 589s and Gators as well for me there will be nothing else but the Gators.
Shotgun, yes the Prarie usually wins here too when they are all pulling legal weight. This isn't a power issue just that you can move the weight around on the Prarie. The 700 is so close to the legal 1050lb weight class that with rider you have very little weight to move at your advantage. The situation I was describing the 700 was not at legal weight probably closer to 1500 or 1600 lbs. It takes some power to spin those big tires on a soft tacky track. It was very immpresive, the Prarie may be able to do the same thing but he wouldn't try it. Myself I don't like the 700 and would not buy another Polaris, but it does have some awesome power.
Dave, I said something about the Rincon in my post. Those quads just can't be competitive without low range. Now for trail riding sure they are fine, but power house they are not.

No question the 700 has lots of power, but the independent suspension lends to jumping around when pulling. Also with the flexing of the suspension, I think the front diff. doesn't stay locked in all the time, like the Prairie and Grizz, (Yes I know Polaris says it is a true diff, but it needs slippage to kick in), with the flexing I think it is in and out.

I not flaming Polaris, we used to pull with Polaris 500's, just my opinion,

As far as pulling the Rincon just doesn't have a low enough gear to allow for pulling.

Just my .02
