Polaristar Insurance?

They are not a bad company, but not the greatest either.. I first had my Trailboss on a policy, full coverage with a $250 deductible. I added my Z 400 in October and the deductible went up to $500 and that is the lowest deductible you can get from them now. They got my money for one year, but they won't get it for a second one. I will be switching to a different company in May when the policy is up.

I bought a policy for my 2001 Sportsman 500 on thursday, Oct 10 2002 because I was taking a trip to the Hatfield McCoy trails in West Virginia and was worried about it getting stolen. Turns out I missed a turn on the trail the following monday morning, only 4 days later. Luckily I got thrown off right away but the sportsman tumbled end over end down the mountain side for about 400 feet, finally stopping when it hit a huge poplar tree about 12 feet in the air. Needless to say it was totaled badly. Markel (the Polaristar insurance Co.) paid up with no problems. They valued it at $5590 minus the $500 deductible and even reimbursed the $900 I paid to have a recovery company come get it off the mountain. I relpaced it with an 03 Sportsman 700 Mossy oak and got a policy for it the next day.
