Something really easy to cook....take a couple of links of boudain and cut them in half, then slice them down the middle stick a piece of velveta cheese in the middle, and roll in foil. When you get hungry chunk the rolled links beside the fire and let warm. Turns out really good!

You are all being so nice and sharing ideas. I'll have enough to make a Camp Recipe Book. Thanks to each and everyone one of you for sharing as you have. I'm so looking forward to being able to use them.
I got this little tid bit off a mining forum I was on. They said for those whole like eggs for breakfast and don't mind scrambled but DON'T like the mess or chance of broken eggs while travelling...to scramble them ahead of time and use a funnel to put them in a pop bottle while transporting.

One of my favs is to brown up a couple of lbs of lean beef, add a couple tins of that pre-made "Manwich" sloppy joe mixture, then place a big helping onto a tortilla, add lots of grated cheddar cheese, fold em up & suck em down with lotsa suds...
very easy & quick,... and even the kids love em.

You take a can of your favorite brew, Bud seems to bring out the best taste. Anyway get some meat around Venison seems to taste the best but beef works good too. Get some onions too. And some buns. Fry up the meat in a pan and add beer to it as needed to help it simmir, cut up the onions and ad them into the meat and beer. The onions bring out the flavor of the meat more. Let it cook in the beer untill the meat is done and the beer is gone. If you have any beer left over drink it with your burgers and enjoy your meal.
It's a simple meal, easy to make, and it tastes so good.
