mine does it too, I have always just ignored it. I think I need to turn my idle up a little, can you tell me where the idle adjustment is?

After warm up, shut off the 700 and put it in the speedo mode for the tach. Reach at the bottom of your carb, you will see a black ****. Turn it untill your RPM are around 1100rpm.

I honestly don't know where any adjustment screws are I havent looked yet but Iwant get a manual before I screw with anything. I did find out how to fix some of the noisy rattles on it they drove me nuts! let me know if you have any.

The idle speed adjust is on the front side of the carb and behind the engine. It hangs down a bit and is somewhat easy to get to if you have the left panel pulled off. The panel comes off easy with no tools - just has tabs holding it in place. I don't remember any more, but I believe you turn the screw clockwise for increased RPM. Turn it either way with the engine warmed up until you get the desired RPM (1100).

To read RPMs you have to enter diagnostic mode. To do this, do the following:

If the engine is on, shut it off for at least 20 seconds.

1) Put transmission in neutral
2) Hold the override button down and then turn the key to on
3) You will get a software version screen first and then this will automatically switch to the first setting which is voltage.
4) Press the override button again and it will switch to oil pressure test mode
5) Press the override button again and you are now seeing RPMs being displayed.
6) This diagnostic mode will stop when putting it in gear, when the tires move forward, or the key is turned off.
