These are fully adjustable so you can have any engagement or power curve you would like. I have one in my 700...

I have a 2004 500 H.O. ,which I want to put a heelclicker on ,which set up or weight set do you recommend starting with .I really would like it to be quicker and hit harder at the start, but don't want to lose topend if possible.Thanks.If you have already tried several setups , maybe you could save me some time.

I have it on my 700. I went with recommended setup but used stock spring so it will engage just above idle. You can get a lot of info on ATVNATION website also.

If you want full power you can put a spring in that would allow you to be in the power band when the clutch engages (really jerks you & goes) or you can have the clutch engage just off idle(good for rock hopping etc,) and very smooth engagement as compared to higher RPM engagement. You can adjust the 3 weighted arms to hold longer at different speeds to tailor to your type of riding...
The directions list setups for several models & for larger tires. You can call & talk to DAN at heelclicker & he will help you with any questios or problems. HEELCLICKER.COM has excellent online manual & step by step install instructions. (Discount price of $150 U.S. if bought thru ATVNATION)...They stand behind their products %100. No hassle with guarantee...

I went to atvnation to get the heelclicker thru them at the discounted price ,but couldn't find anythimg but the link to heelclicker .Also I know you said you kept the stock primary for lower RPM engagement ,I will do the same, but tell me about the secondary spring setup and how to do it I heard it has to be turned and set to the proper amount of tension? Thanks for your time!

Go to the POLARIS section & you will see several things about HC at the top of the FORUM. The secondary spring is ready to install, no trimming. Look on the HC site for pictures of install step by step under topic 24/7 Tech Support. Call DAN & he will tell you anything you need to know, even about the Grizzly he took with Bow & Arrow from close range! I have a great dealer here (Prescot Valley-80 miles)& he did most of it for me...
