Smile Resurrecting 91 Bayou 220 (attempt)

Hello all!
i decided to pull out the 1991 Bayou 220 and start working on it after setting 10+- years in the barn. LOL its in worse shape than i remember.
Things that i know that is needed to get it running Cdi box and ignition coil.
Tested the coil pulser and its good. Got a cheapo chinese quad wiring harness that the seller claimed will work it has all the essentials.
Has anyone hear tried this? Any help, thoughts and suggestions will be appreciated.

ill post photos of the progress.

Are coil pulsers polarity sensitive?

Ran down the wires for the pulser and stator.
Pulser wires are red/white stripe, blue/white stripe and green is ground.
Stator is white and yeller. LOL aka yellow...

Doubt if you will get that Chinese set up to work. Someone on here posted the 220 wiring diagram, https://atvconnection.com/forums/kaw...r-issue-2.html and both trigger and exciter coils are two wires each, I suspect the Chinese loom is for earthed stator coils.

Thank you for the response...
Think we all will be surprised it works but i have to give it a go. This idea has been gnawing at me for about six years and i have not found anyone who has tried doing it.

The Bayou 220 is AC CDI. It is the 300 that is DC. That back link I put up doesn't seem to work, I will try again, https://atvconnection.com/forums/kaw...r-issue-2.html it shows the exciter coil wires and trigger coil wires going direct from stator to CDI.

Thank you!
Must be bad info on (It Still Runs)
"The Bayou 220’s engine is a 215cc, four-stroke, shaft-driven, air-cooled model. Its bore measures 2.6 inches and the stroke is 2.4 inches. It features a relatively high 9.3:1 compression ratio with fuel delivered through a Mikuni VM24SS carburetor. The electronic ignition is Kawasaki’s DC-CDI."

Tested the two wires that go from the stator to the bayou cdi. The red one has 30v the black has 10v. Was thinking run the red to the power pin on the new cdi and run the black through the pickup and then to the trigger pin.

P.S. Yes i am working on a backup plan. (it involves old car parts)..
