Default What Quad To Get?!?!

I am 15 and i Just got a Yamaha Raptor. Its got alot of power for my size but I love it. I'm 5 7 135 pounds. It throws me around alot but then I dont always give it all its got either. I ride Banshees Raptors all day long but I respect the Machines. If I was you I would get a Yamaha Blaster or 300ex. Maybe even a 400ex because they are all good starting quads. They make you feel what a quads about. 400ex would probably be better later on because you will grow into it and be able to do some modifications to it. More Power but better in long run. I started out with a Blaster 6 Months ago and I sold it and got the Raptor. The only reason I sold it is because I got 3 Grand out of it and I want something bigger when I get older. I first Started riding quads on a Sportsman 400 though so I kinda new what i was doing

Im 15 and have a KFX 700 V-Force and it is just right for me, best quad in the world for me. If you had to choose between the 300ex and the warrior plzzzz get the ex, and this is coming from a former warrior owner. Man i hated that thing, not enough power for me not even close. The suspension is also bad, get the ex.

a 400ex is a nice bike i mean its one of the most populiar bikes look in an atv magizine where the parts are and look for 400ex parts.their right up there with banshees,250rs,andraptors. you would have no problem modding it after you need more power or speed

sportyroxx- I totaly am with you, also had a Warrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiioo oooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrr, and on pavment you could'nt even flip it because the front end is so havey (can't spell!) and there sooooooooo gutless. Go with the EX because you can do wheelies all day long. And for like a $1000 you can put a 330 kit to make it run with the 400's.

It all depends on how much you want to spend, beacuse that will detrman the year that you could get. Go to cycle trader.com to find one, there are some 400's in differant states for $3,000. If you want me to help you look for one I will do it. Just look in all your states papers. heck, sandman430's kid rides a 400 with a pipe and he's only 9!
