Default What Quad To Get?!?!

Did anyone ask him if he needed reverse? He could always use the money he has now and get a Z or KFX 400 and count it as his only birthday/christmas present for the next 5 years. JK. And I don't know where everybody gets this "Warrior is the worst ATV on the planet stuff". I mean, I know mine can't keep up with any of the newer things out there. DaSandBomb, I can understand how the Warrior would seem pretty terrible if you go from that to a DS, but come on, the Warrior has been around for a VERY long time and has been proven reliable, if nothing else. So now I'll climb down off my soapbox and hope I don't get flamed.

P.S., I like the heavy front end because you can CLIMB with it. I'd rather not be able to do wheelies easily and keep my neck from being broken on a steep hill.

Default What Quad To Get?!?!

This guys not even 13 yet,and for a first quad a 400ex with no reverse.that one kid might be 9 but hes probly been riding for a couple of years. for a 12 year old, a 300ex would be a great starter quad, even if the reverse is kinda loopy, but youll get used to it, i did, (i can get it in reverse in about a second from neutral).you can find 300exs for cheap on the internet.

Thanks Dasandbomb for taking time to find those. I am considering the 300 EX. I thought it would be a good place to start. Maybe after i get used to riding a quad, I will upgrade to the 400 EX.

. I hope you know that was just my thought of it. Your right again, the warrior has its own class.

No worries mate. I'm just defending my quad like anyone else would lol. For a beginner or an experienced rider it's not bad. But it would probably just be a backup for the more performance-oriented riders. Oh well, I like it, doesn't mean everyone else has to. I didn't mean to jump all over anyone. It's just well-suited to the type of riding I do. You just have to ride them for yourself.
