the 250R was and still is a great quad....personally i would rather find a basketcase R....build it up the way i want it....and enjoy riding a machine that can make just about 90% of all the quads out there look bad....if not anything but the sheer age of the machine!

i spent around 2500 bucks restoring mine....of course not taking into consideration what i had in the quad to start with....thats about all it should take anyone to put one back in great shape....

check out my pics...the bike was just finished the first of june this year...and ive not had a single problem with it....fired up on first kick to boot!.....granted my R is only slightly modded
