I just looked at the Cannondale website, and they said that their next machine to be produced will be the FX400. It will be available this fall. BTW-they started shipping their MX400 motocrossers today. I'm stoked, I want one!

 

Did you hear they were put on recall for transmission problems. They were coming out the second week of June but this recall held them up. And i also heard that the DS 650 is on recall for the front end. Just goes to show ya dont buy the first year a new atv is made wait till the following year so all the bugs are worked out.

 

How could they be put on recall... they just started rolling off the production line and the first ones were shipped 5/31/00. I don't believe that.

 

I was told by a local Cannondale dealer that the new quad will be out in July. These are definately good times for the sport quad enthusiast!

 

I know the new motocrosser just went into production, and they said it would be a few months until the quad is made.

A recall, and a delay in production is totaly different.

 

I have been following Cannondale's introduction of the MX400 and FX400 pretty closely and haven't heard of any such problems. Plus, you can't have a recall if something hasn't been sold... What would you recall?

 

this good news because my dad is buying one as soon as they come out out with the zilla in with the FX
