Doug Gust doesn't seem to have to terribbly much luck with them..... But then again too he's running a full tilt top performance motor, and hes seriously aggresive compared to you and I. Motor reliability is DIRECTLY linked to motor maintnance. If you ignore oil changes, compression checks, and valve adjustments...yes you do have a ticking time bomb. But if you stay on top of maintnance you will normally be alerted of problems before it creates engine failure. Although anytime you pump up compression, and have aggressive cams your going to shorten your top-end rebuild times. As others have said on here "If you wanna play, you gotta pay" Its just up to you on if the extra hp. is worth the extra maintnance.

No problems here with my 440. Only complaint is cold starting is a little harder, (due to the HotCams without a decompression pin that the stockers have), but otherwise I can't wipe the smile off my face!

my friend did it. I had the sleeve put on by a machine shop. my friend was saying something like it's maybe the exhaust hitting the pipe. Does that sound right? If the timing is off, would that make my quad not idle right or what happens?? thanks for replying back man. I really need someones advice until he can come over and check it out.
