Does anyone know what the top speeds for both of these quads are? I would think the Predator would go a little faster.

 

i am not sure about the kfx but i got my pred up to 80 yesterday.

 

kfx400 stock-68-70mph
predator stock 74-77mph

hey i have a predator 500 05 model and it has not been working i just sent it to the shop last thursday and they said it was the air valves in the engine and i rode it every day for a week and then today i went to go riding and it would no start so it sounds like it is the air valves does any one else with a predator have problems with there air valves becuz my dad spent 700$ for the dealer to fix it and they didnt so does any one know whats wrong ??

 

warrenty should have coverd it, i feel sorry for your dad having to shell out 700 for a valve job, thats robbery

 

we have a polaris predator and it beats z400s fairly easy.

 

My best friend has a Z400 and it has a yoshi pipe & header it is a great quad and is pretty quick. Make no mistake though, a Z400 isnt even in the same league as the Predator.(speed wise) When I ride the two quads, getting off of his and on mine is like getting off a 400ex and getting on a 450R. Sure the Z has tons of aftermarket to choose from and is a great, smooth, fun quad but it (stock to stock) wont touch a Predator. Anyone who disagrees can line a Z400 up beside my Predator ANY day of the week. The Z400 is a VERY popular quad here and I can count 4 within 10 miles of my house that I ride with often and none of the 4 has come back for a rematch after their spakin'. Dont think I'm downing the Z400,I am looking at buying my wife one as we speak.
