the raptor isn't tippy and if you think it is your leaning the wrong way

 

I ride 90% dunes. When we race up sand mountain (about a 600-800ft sand hill in utah if your not familiar with it) the yfz beats the raptor pretty badly. Probably a good 8-10 quad lenghts. I dont know about pavement or dirt roads im talking strictly sand. When I race the raptor on my two stroke I can let it get dang near half way up the hill before I start and still blow by the raptor. The yfz is a different story. I dont let it get much of a lead on me cuz its much harder to catch. top end the raptor would outrun a yfz but up the sandhill most quads cant pull the hill above second or third gear so you never reach top speed.

 

OK, since you do mostly dunes then I suggest the DS650. It was straight up built for dunes and IMO is best suited for it compared to the others listed. Also the only exprieince I had with pred's was drag racing out at the local trails and in a 300ft. run my DS would walk all over the pred and I know my 450R can outrun my DS so I dont know where the whole predator is quicker than the YFZ because the YFZ have NO PROBLEMS hanging with my 450R. Besides, who runs on pavement with a ATV?
