Default In the market for a Quad

I am in the market for a 400cc class quad and was wondering if I could get some feed back? I am thinking of either the Honda 400ex or the suzuki z400/Kawasaki kfx400. Which of these thre do you feel is the better machine, pros/cons? any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Well I cant say too much, but I just bought a 05' Suzuki Z-400 and it is fast . Power is reallly something else. I dont go as fast and wide open as some of the younger guys do but the Z-400 is very responsive and rides real good. I bought mine after extensive research and riding quite a few different quads. If you are looking for a quad to keep for a good while the Suzuki is a good investment. The 400EX is a good bike also but everyone tells me it is outdated and needs to be redesigned. Plus the Suzuki has some great financing deals at a low APR. Right now in all the test and Shootouts by various magazines always list the Suzuki #1 or in some cases #2 . The best advice I can give you is to go out and ride the bikes and see which one suits you best. just make sure you hold on ! In other words, the z outperforms the 400ex in just about everything, except for the price. The z is like 300 bucks more but for the radiator, the front resivoir shocks, reverse(which the new 400ex has too), its just a better buy period. And the power is controlable so you dont kill yourself but it still has plenty to go rip it up
