Is it a sport quad?

Tried to talk mine into a TRX250, but she wanted nothing to do with any kind of shifting. Disappointing yes, but I figure the more she rides, the more I do.

D@mmit i ride a girls' bike! LOL Naw it wasn't my first choice, it fell in my lap. It's pretty quick still and better handling than my last quad so at least it was a step up.</end quote></div>
My first quad was a polaris. Actually got a lot of the other family members to take an interest in riding, since they didn't have to shift.
But now that I have the kfx, I do have to admit, it is a little boring riding the auto. Still, the old popo can go through a lot more mud than I can.

My Wife didn't think she could learn how to shift either.... she never even drove a manual car....
But after a few lessons on our old Warrior at the time and she got the hang of it....... now she enjoys shifting and would not ride an auto because they are "boring" to her .....
Personally shifting is part of the fun..... it's nice to bang gears ...
I agree with most people that your quad is kind of a hybrid ... the Polaris machines of those years were unique and still are.....
