We talk about the new technology in the engines,we talk about the handling,we ask which we would buy.But which Is the most FUEL EFFICIENT.how long before refill.with gas at 4$ a gallon how long before a fillup?

The same bike ridden by different riders over different terrain will get different mileage. There isn't a set test they use like ones for cars. I can see why you'd be interested in knowing, but the 450 sports especially weren't built with the mpg's in mind.

If range is an issue....get a desert tank! My 400EX for example has a 5.3 gallon tank, and my 450R is 1+ gallon.

If the cost of gas for your quad is an issue...then you can't afford a quad in the first place. All 9 of my quads and dirt bikes don't use as much gas in a year as my Suburban uses in a week....

No kidding on the price of just getting them on the road. By the time I fill the truck, 5 quads and the fueling station on the trailer, I'm hitting about 240 bucks, and haven't done anything yet.

I think they are all in the same range....... too close to say which is better by any determinable amount.

for me cost is'nt an issue I just wanted to know which one is the most fuel efficient.

I would imagine the quads with a good dialed in EFI system would be the most fuel efficient. The DS450, KFX450, LTR450, and now YFZ450.
