My source of info is a guy that is a tech for a Honda supported rider.(sponsored but not a factory rider.) He told me in 2007 what the 2009 CRF450 would be like and he was correct on every level. He told me as long as there were no problems with the CRF they would release the new TRX in 2010, if they had bugs it would be 2011. He said it will have an aluminum frame, the motor will be moved forward slightly resulting in lower center of gravity, EFI with 2 different stock mappings with a selector on the bars. Kayaba shocks(Honda dumped Showa). Possibly a whole new look. The only thing interchangeable between the 08 and the 09 CRF450 are the brakes.

And seeing how the other MFGs are making a MX and XC models, I wouldn't be surprised if Honda stepped it up. It would fit their past record, fall behind and then blow everyone's mind!

like i said , it hurts me to , ive not had the chance to ride a 450r , and my 416ex just aint right and im dissapointed with it , thats why im lookin at other bikes , but i dont feel comfortable on the 660 raptors , but not tried the 700 yet , the 660 felt to tippy for me but i loved the power , but after my brother sold his 400ex and got a z400 i saw a world of difference

 

That New TRX sounds awesome to me. I definitely a fan of Honda 450's, bike and quad. Out of the 450's the honda TRX is the most comfortable and has the best ergonomics. This is coming from a guy 6'6" and 280.

You woud have the same feeling going from the 660 to a 700 as they are night and day diff feel to them.
