Sport Quad Riders.....

I'm a sport rider....not really sure if I'm a redneck or not..... I don't like to ride big Utes either, but I don't care if others want to.
My ONLY problem with people who might be termed "Ute Rednecks" are the ones that ride around with no helmets, in shorts and sneakers, with a beer in one hand and a Marlboro in the other. I don't see many in my little riding world but I hate to hear/see them in stupid videos crashing and getting hurt....makes all ATVers look stupid... but that seems to be a very small number of Ute riders.....and those people are not often "riders" as much as they are people just "riding" ......
A lot of my friends ride big Utes....I don't bash them for it... I just ride with them the same way I ride with my sport riding buddies.... we are all out there in the dirt riding.
I think Recon rubs people the wrong way because he's so opinionated. That's not always a bad thing........sometimes however it can cloud your ability to remain objective....

I've been here for a long time, like recon. I haven't necessarily agreed with him over the years, but any time you lose somebody with so many years of atv experience and knowledge, the forum suffers, irregardless of what a few vindictive people think.
Varied opinions are what makes a board interesting.
