Some of us aren't afraid to dismount our bikes and correct a situation that needs correcting. I gladly gave up reverse to gain 11hp, better handling, and better suspension. Heck with with all that, maybe I wouldn't get stuck on that off camber in the first place...
In fact, in approx 20+ years of riding experience, I have gotten myself out anything I have gotten myself into without a reverse on any of my bikes...
The fact that the Warrior's design is old is still no excuse. The '85 ATC350X engine was more advanced and put out more HP. The only reason they have sold for so long was the lack of competition, the 300EX is similar, but smaller. For a bigger rider that wanted a sporty four stroke quad, the only choice for almost 13 years was a Warrior. There's your reason.
