I'm unloading the Polaris' and considering getting Suzuki's . I want the z400 for myself and I'm thinking the z250 for my 11 year old son. I need some input on the 250. Would it be a good bike for him? Would it be to much? Polaris can kiss my @ss! I'm totally fed up with there crap. I've had Suzuki street bikes in the past and have had great experiences with Suzuki.

Don't blame you tblazerdad for wanting to get rid of those BIG HEAVY turds,,,,I just got rid of two myself and bought a Z250 and I can tell you that you won't be dissappointed at all...
I have not had a chance to really break mine in yet or race anyone yet but I would not be surprized if it can hang with a 300ex especially with the yoshi pipe that I'll getting later this week...
I can tell you that you will take a beating on those Polaris bikes but you will love having a light weight bike that you don't have to man handle,,,,,it'll be worth it in the end so you may as well take the hit and be done with it.....
I'll let you know later this week how much differance the pipe makes but I can tell you that even stock you will have no problem getting the front end up off of the ground.....

Just got back from Pismo and tested my daughters new z250 and was amazed of the power and ease for me to do wheelies!! I did some climbing in the dunes but not too steep cuz I didnt have paddles. I sure do like this automatic and the way it climbs is awesome! I bet if I had some paddles on that I could have climbed any hill out there. It sure does keep the rpms up there when you need them and thats what I like too.
