How hard is it to change the clutch plates on a 86 quadracer?

Do you have to take the side cover off to get to the plates?

Yeah, how else you gonna get to them. 1st You got to drain the coolant and tranny lube. Disconnect the clutch cable and take out the clutch release pinion(which should just pop out). There are about 10 screws to get the cover off. You don't hafta take the waterpump cover off so you leave the 2 screws on the left side of it in. Then there are 5 little bolts that hold the clutch springs. You gotta take them out and then you can remove all but I think 1or2 disc which are held in by a small like wire.
Need some more info just comeback and ask. I'll be gone for about an hour
