who makes them and are they any good??

 

EPI makes them. They make a clutch kit for stock tires and one for oversized tires. Made a big difference on my wife's Vinson w/ 27" Mudlites. Gives back the power that you lose otherwise. It consisted of clutch springs and weights. You have to split the case to install. It is quite a job and was done by a mechanic. It is more than I would want to do on my own.

 

How much did the labor cost you?

 

It didn't cost me anything as a buddy took care of it. I will find out what the charge would have been, if I had just been a customer off the street and post back.
