1986suzukiquadracer, I restored the tractor that ran on kerosene w/gas start. It's a 1943 Farmall H. The caps even say gasoline and kerosene. During WWII, gasoline was rationed, so farmers didn't have much, so they used kerosene. I have over a decade of life on you, been there done that got the t-shirt. Kerosene was also used in old lamps like Rayo and Aladdin, and ignites rather easily. Basically kerosene is the in between of gasoline and diesel. You can run diesel in your unleaded only car, but it'll smoke something fierce. I've ran 2-stroke pre-mix in my old bug when I had nothing else. Just don't run gasoline in your diesel engine, they go BOOM. All just food for thought.

SRK399, i'm definitely still a kid, to most people i'll still be a kid by the time i'm 30. but when that pup motor packed it in i was 4. so back then i was "just a LITTLE kid." now i'm a medium-large kid.

Your only as old as you want to be! Enjoy your youth before your too old to remember where you left it. I think my daughter hid my youth in her toy box, under a Barbie perhaps. Or maybe I've been sitting above gas tanks for too long and I'm starting to feel the effects of all those fumes from over the years.
