Quadrunner 250 Problems

My 2001 Suzuki Quadrunner 250 4X4 has totally quit on me. I had rode through a small pond with some of my friends, then left there and went riding for about an hour. Riding down the gravel road I stop next beside one of my friends and turn my machine off to cool it down some. We get ready to go and it won't start for anything, so he pulls me home. So here I am, the engine hardly turns over now (i'm guessing battery) and when it does, I get no sign of anything. I put some gas in it later that day and quit messing with it, then woke up the next morning and found all the gas in the filter under the seat. I know this isn't a lot of information about the problem but does anyone know anything that I might could try? Thanks.

So all the gas drained from the tank into the airbox? Oil still in good shape? How deep was the water? If the battery was in good shape before this I would check all of the harnesses for water, and corrosion. WD-40 displaces water and is electronic friendly. I've had needle valves stick in the carb and fill the motor with gas, but the airbox stayed dry I believe. The carb on mine runs slightly downhill tho.

guess what?i own an arctic cat 250 4x4 which under the plastic is all suzuki!!
your probelm is a stuck needle valve in the carb which causes the gas to drain into the crankcase.
a trip to your dealer should rectify the problem.make sure they change the oil as well as as fixing the stuck needle valve.
hope this info is of some assistance.

otherwise stock suzuki under an arctic cat sticker.
