Which one is better as far as jumping, handling and speed?

 

i think the z beats the ex in all of those categories. That is my opinion, but have had very adequate riding time on both machines, and i feel that the z is better than the ex in each of those.

 

The Z/KFX by far over powers the EX in those catagories but as far as jumping goes the EX will last longer if you plan on going big.

The ex is a good quad too.

 

Jumping and handling are very close. As for speed, it really depends on where your riding and whether or not gobs of low end torque or high-RPM horsepower is advantageous.

The Honda is built like a tank. My friend's was thrown from the bed of his truck with no damage. We've also flipped it a few times.

If your debating the two, definetly go with the Z. It is a great all around improvement to the 400 Ex. The liquid cooling, DOHC, and extra power are well worth it.
