FCR 40mm carb....enough said!!! Dial that baby in and say goodbye to your old 400!!!

DGrally this is the route i have chosen... i am going to custom my quad my self rather than get a 450 kit... here is what i am doing:

that is around the same price of yoshis 450 systemmm there good one at least... but i like mine better lol

BLASTER: are the cams going to be stage 1 or stage 2?

and have you any idea how much of an increase the High Comp Piston makes to the bike??

I have spent somewhere around $2000 for everything, and couldn't be more pleased!! Once you get everything dialed in you won't believe how good it runs!!

I am not going to list price, but here is a rough rundown of what I did, and sure I left out a lot too....


LRD ATTITUDE Z400 ALUMINUM FRAME (blue)

im not sure what cams i should put in to tell you the truth i dont know a whole lot about cams.. what do you guys think for MX and trails.. which ever one is better for those.. my guess would be stage 2

how does it compare with the power of a Raptor? mainly on the hill sections?

Default LTZ400 Performance Upgrades

Make sure you replace the cheap tubular steering tie rods! They're very weak, I bent mine 1 month after I bought the bike brand new, and I don't even remember hitting anything hard enough to do it. You can either replace them with a solid tie rod (available all over ebay) and you can take them off, go to your local hardware store, and buy a peice of steel rod that fits nice a tight inside the hollow tube and reinstall them on your bike. I opted for the 2nd option, and haven't had a problem since.
