i can't see a 230 going 75 without EXTENSIVE custom motor modification.

 

im thinking i will be able to wheelie with my weisco pro lite piston, trinity racing cam, and a hot rod con rod

Oh wait, I just saw that you also own an ATK 406 that does 120-130! I bet your Mom's car does at least 160-165 in town, stop light to stop light?

 

Yeah there's no way a stock LT230S will go 75MPH (unless the rider weighs about 5 pounds!!). Mine's stock and it will go around 55mph and will easily beat my friends Foreman 450. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Forgot to mention that last night me and my buddy with the 450 were riding and he was going about 35 mph and he hit a huge ditch and I saw the taillights going straight up! It flipped on its nose then landed on it's side!!! Does anyone know where I can get a front rim, front rack and front guard for the 450?




How far can you other 230 owners wheelie? I have a problem keeping mine up for more than 5 seconds but I can ride on two wheels (on the side) all day long.

 

I am almost done installing new sprokets and chain...Had an 11 tooth front..I am replacing with a stock 12...3 to 5 mph difference according to tech guy....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

But you will loose some take off power and will probably find yourself shifting a bunch more.

 

hey do you guys know if suzuki change the exhaust port on the motor from and 87 to and 89 year, my new 89 motors port is too small(by a hair) for my stock 87 exhaust. any suggestions? i am going to break out the air grinder and round the head pipe part of the exhaust to the proper diameter, has any one else heard of this?

 

LOL !! No Problem, for the riding I get to do..it seemed I was always in fifth gear.. I really don`t use first or second much anyway,as they are way to low for what I get to do..
