Twist throttle ?

I was wondering if anyone has ever put a twist throttle on an 85-86 LT250R. With the on/off switch for the lights on top of the thumb throttle assembly I just don't know if u can use a twist throttle and retain the lighting system. Anyway thanks.

Yea< i have a Motion Pro twist throttle on my 85 LT. It works pretty good, but if my thumb throttle was not so hashed, Id still use it. Im not sure about the light situation, as all of the lights on my quad have been stripped. The twist throttle does make it feel more "race ready" if there is such a thing. A bit more sporty I suppose.
