z400 w/ Reverse
First of all pull in the clutch and stop. Get in 1st gear. Turn the ****, and shift DOWN from first. Back up, pull in the clutch and stop. Shift UP, and you are back in 1st.
No problems. You can go fairly fast in reverse, so don't get carried away. There is a rev limiter that will cut out the engine if you over do it.
