Hi, I just tried to adjust my chain and with the hash marks lined up the front to rear axle messaure ment on was a 1/2 in off side to side? what is the best way to line the rear up when adjusting the chain? if I get the meassurement on the axles to be the same the adjuster screws are 5mm diffrent in lengths and teh marks don't line up. thanks.
P.S it is a 03 z 400.

the frame could be tweaked, or bent, or the front wheels could be slightly turned...that would account for the front to rear measurements being different. Usually the hash marks are right. Try measuring from the center of rear wheel hub to the swingarm bolt
