Has anyone had any problems with their eiger drowning out in water. I am talking about not real deep water. Mine will drowned out in water when it starts coming in the floor board. What could be making it do this so easy. After you pull it out it will fire right back up and you can go.

 

Might want to check with dealer. Mine is about 3 months old w/ about 400 miles on it. Had it to WVA twice through creeks and water/mud holes with water up to tank & no problems.

 

I would check with dealer I've had my eiger in water up to the headlights and it kept on going no problem.

 

If it is really drowning in water only a foot deep I don't think it is taking in water. Water doesn't compress so your motor would probably lock up. I've had mine up to the headlights too and she ran fine. Once she rolled over on me in a crick, and after draining everything the belt slipped for a couple minutes then everything ran fine. Take it to the dealer or at least get under it and make sure everything looks right. Maybe your getting water in a wire connection. The CDI is under the seat by the left rear tire, check all the wires and connections in this area. You've got a helluva a machine that seems almost unbreakable. Good luck! Eiger2 out.
