Question about those "QUADZILLAS"
#31
I'm not bashing the quad at all. I'm just saying if you get one chances are you will be using more tools, more often. I'm not biased in any way.... If I was I would have told him to get a DS650 instead. I don't see any big problem that I'm causing here, I just want to let him know that it's not the most reliable quad made (speaking lightly) even compared to the 250R's..... But it's cool, I'm not buying it so I don't know why I get so worked up over these things.

id say your gonna need a strong leg to kick a zilla at 115lbs. anybody else agree with me? I've ridden them before and i just rode my very own for the first time today. Im around 175lbs and with a big boot on its not too bad for me to kick but i dont know if your wieght might be more trouble. you might want to start squatting some wieght to strenthen your leg up. its not that you cant do it but at a lesser weight your leg isnt going to be as strong to push that kicker down. maybe im wrong im sure you could get the job done if you had to but no, they are no floppy kickin the breeze they take some power and a steady consistent kick. they are jerky you got to watch out your foot doesnt slip off or you dont jam your toes into the foot peg.

It's because you keep pounding the SAME drum with the SAME beat. We know how you feel about the Zilla, in fact we knew after the first 10 times you told us. Everyone is entitled to share their opinion, however, pestering those on this thread that happen to like the Zilla seems out of line, to me.

Why did Suzuki just use two crank bearings for a friggin 500cc two-stroke? Bunch of morons...The polaris 400 sportsman I used to own had 4. I guess I need to check mine out. Whats the costs of the steel inserts?

not sure about the cost I would think a local shop could do it. Any answers anybody? I havent had mine done yet so i dont know. I learned about it on off-road.com's ATV section under project quads. they have a whole big Quadzilla reborn article walking through the whole thing
