vinson auto belt always spin when ideling in park?
#1
my question is if im parked and let engine idle is that bad for belt or does belt contiuesly spin? does the belt rest idle causing wear if idling for any lengh of time.

If your idle speed is set correctly, the belt doesn't spin during idle. The service manual says the belt isn't supposed to engage until 1800-2400 RPM. Idle should be set at 1300 +- 100 RPM.
Hope this helps.
