well i pulled off my flywheel cover today and check for play and there was none to be found, i thought my crank bearings were gone because it was making a grinding noise like bad bearings and there was a bunch of restriction so it wont idle but it will run, going to have to do come checking in other areas.

 

Grinding noises and restriction huh? Check the lower con rod bearing. I had similar problems on my bike and that was the culprit.
