I think that it is a matter of what your engine likes. I had a Cavalier that got better mileage and better response with splitfires. they did nothing in a chev balzer I had at the same time, if anything they did slightly worse in that motor. The chev liked regular cheap plugs. Then My vortec 350 liked the Bosh plus twos with two top electrodes and did not like the regular plugs. Also might need to check your ignition wires. People tend to look at them and say looks ok must be OK. I replace them with really good quality wires every 20000 to 30000 or so in my automobiles. I am not very experienced with motorcycles or ATVs yet. But I would assume that they wear out the ignition wires too and since their systems produce less spark power than a car they would be more sensitive to any fatigue. Just an assumption on my part. My wife had a rancher though that ran much better after I replaced the ignition wire it had quite a few miles on it when we bought it. The plug alone didn't make much difference.

A long time ago jc whitney offered plugs called "fire injectors" They fired a spark into the combustion chamber. We put them in a 302 ford and they made a noticable difference in the performance on the car. better mileage (but who cared- gas was 30 cents a gallon) and better acceleration. I dont know wqhy they disappeared.
