if stage 1 doesnt require them ,then they would be of no benefit. the other ones need them because of the more radical cam profile.the springs force the rocker to follow the bump or lobe on camshaft,bigger or wilder bump=more pressure to follow it.get stage 1,you will like it.its by no means like stock![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Me i have a QuadSport 230 87 and want to have more power
Here listed what i have on it :
- Wiseco piston
- Gearing 13/39
- Handlebar Renthal
- Tires 20-12-9
I run 47mph have stock air filter and stock pipe.My motor is rebuilt.
What is the best pipe and air filter for my atv?
What can i add like mods in my lt-230 to have more power? and speed without loose low power

i weight 59kg ... maybe a clutch problem too ... I will check it ... and with my 20inch tires I lost top speed vs 22 inch tires but what are the best mods to have more power and go faster witouth change gearing?

if you want speed AND power do what the thread starter did with cam and piston,pipe,rejet. THEN do gearing ,as with all this gearhead stuff......its give and take power OR speed.make the motor more powerfull and you can use less gear to do same hills ,etc. but still have the gear for more topend speed. gearing is like icing on the cake(fine tuning tool)ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES AND GET OUT THE CHECKBOOK!
