I'm scratching my head at this one. I'm getting 62 mph with more to go.period. I have nothing to prove. Boombastic-you must be one of the 14 year olds that post here. And after reading some of 581's posts-I have no problem beleiving he gets 75 or better from his. Also-I just put a jet kit in mine and I can't really see any diff. But that is a differant thread.

 

Every individual bike is different, so expect to see variations in hp, reliability, and speed. When are YOU going to get your head out of your butt and learn that variation is normal. Not every machine will top out at exactly 60.2 mph.

 

Well, I just bought an 02 Vinson auto for my wife. I will run it and see what it tops out at. Then I can see how close I am to the factory specs of 60.2(lol)

boom you should be shot i hate retards like you. There are so many things that will change an atvs top speed. A change in temp will have an effect on speed not just from air dencity, but even the way it will change the air pressure in your tires, there fore changing the gearing. Thats one in about a thousand other thing that will change accelaration and top speed. And the vinson speedo does top out at 62 miles an hour, if you want real speeds buy a gps unit. Boob is your vinny auto or manual? there is about a 3 to 4 mile per hour difference between them but its different from machine to machine like we talked about before remember, if not i can go through it again. I'm not trying to be the man, snug asked a question and we were trying to help him out and then you had to go and get all hard *** on us. Thats not cool. By the way Jap how much air pressure are you running in your tires? If you have to much air in there it will make your speedo slow do to higher gearing.
