I just replaced my twist throttle with a thumb throttle and now have a small problem. Upon deceleration, it will stall. That's the only time. It didn't do this with the twist throttle so is it in the adjustment screw on top of the carb, which I screwed all the way in almost or elsewhere? Still trying to figure out the complete mechanics of the carbs so any help will be appreciated. Going back to twist throttle is not an option, period.

Is it a throttle cable FOR the thumb throttle. Could be unique to the twister.

 

I have an all new thumb throttle cable and a new thumb throttle as well. Everything is new to the carb. It will almost die and only on deceleration is when it happens.

 

I don't know how I managed to do it but I figured out my problem. The choke was partially open. I guess I either forgot or didn't get it pushed all the way down.
